Open a report link and land in the right organisation
If someone sends you a link to a report that lives in a different organisation than the one you are currently in, the link does not take you there. You have to notice the mismatch and switch organisation yourself.
Opening such a link will switch you to the correct organisation automatically, with a clear notice telling you that the switch happened, so you always know which environment you are looking at.
